Background & Education
Attorney Ryan A. Stuart is the founding member of Stuart Law, a full-service law firm based in San Juan County, Utah. Having spent most of his adult life in rural Utah, Ryan founded the firm with a clear purpose - to provide high-quality legal services to communities where acccess to experienced legal representation is often limited.

Ryan graduated summa cum laude from Utah State University, earning his bachelor's degree in English. He went on to attend the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, where he distinguished himself through both academic excellence and leadership. During law school, Ryan served as an editor for the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture, and Natural Resource Law and was selected by faculty and the dean to serve on the Admissions Committee, an honor reserved for only one third-year student each year.
Professional Experience
Following law school, Ryan served as a judicial law clerk in the 8th Judicial Circuit of Warren County, Kentucky, working under the Honorable John Grise, J.B. Hines, and Chris Cohron. During his two-year clerkship, Ryan gained valuable insight into the judicial process, trial procedure, and the practical application of the law across a wide range of cases.

That experience shaped his approach as a practicing attorney - grounded in precision, preparation, and professionalism. It also reinforced his belief that every client, regardless of background or circumstance, deserves quality representation and personal attention.
A Return to Rural Utah
After completing his clerkship, Ryan returned home to Utah with a vision: to establish a law firm that combines the high standards of larger practices with the accessibility and personal service that rural clients value most. That vision became Stuart Law, a firm committed to helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate legal challenges with confidence and clarity.
